Construction Skills Training - a Self-Supporting Class

These products are all made by the men participating in vocational training in our men's shelter program. The three month intensive, basic construction skills class has been involved in refurbishing a house for sale, building four transitional living units adjacent to our New Life Program dormitory, constructing storage units to fit under the bunks in our entry-level domitory, and creating larger storage cabinets for the Mission.

Upon successful completion of the class, each man receives a set of basic carpentry tools to equip him for working in construction. In order to underwite the cost of materials and tools for the class, the men are constructing products for sale. Presently there are six products available.
