Planned Giving
Everyone has a will, either one
you planned for yourself or the one the state has for you.
Here are some things a will can do for you:
- A will can let you close
the books on your earthly stewardship responsibilities-
"put your hoouse in order."
- A will can help you
express your love and thoughtfulness to others, so that
those who are left behind are sure of your wishes.
- A will can remind your
loved ones of your basic beliefs. In a preamble, you may
affirm the guiding principles of your life, comfort and
encourage thsoe who are left behind.
- A will can ensure that
your desires are fulfilled. You can designate who will
care for any dependent children, designate who will
handle the closing of your estate, designate the giving
of certain items to family members or friends.
- A will can conserve your
assets, ensuring more is available to meet your
objectives.
- A will can let you ensure
the pattern of your lifetime support of a church or your
favorite charities, through a direct bequest or gift to
an endowment fund.
- A will can provide peace
of mind.

Planned Gifts
Bequests
The most common
planned gift is a bequest. When planning your will, please
remember your church and charities you have supported during your
life.
A Memorial or Tribute
Gift
Honoring a loved
one through charitable gifts is often an especially meaningful
act of paying tribute to someone. Gifts made in honor of family
and friends at times like Mother's Day and Father's Day, at the
birth of a child, wedding anniversary or other notable occasion
can show how much you care.

convenient gift form, email us, or
you can give now and indicate the person to be honored and the person to
whom you would like the gift acknowledged.
Gift Annuity
A gift annuity can provide a
guaranteed lifetime income for you or for you and a survivor.
Fixed rates are set by a national council and are based on the donor's age. KRM's
gift annuity provides an immediate tax deduction and a portion of
the income from the annuity is tax-free. We will send you a
booklet about gift annuities at your request.
