Ministry Leadership
• Clinton County Ministry of Hope operates under a Steering Committee selected from Clinton County volunteers, who in turn will work under the auspices of the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
• Twenty-four teams of volunteers from sixteen local churches currently rotate in preparing and serving the meal from food supplied by Kokomo Rescue Mission and from food drives in Clinton County. The church represented by the volunteers also provides a short devotional talk during the meal.
• We offer this opportunity to churches as an effective way to provide the needy with food for both body and spirit. An average of 100 meals are currently being served each week. Guests are offered leftovers to take home for the following day.

History
• In February 2007, Kokomo Rescue Mission joined with "Free Supper Saturday" to become Clinton County Ministry of Hope.
• The purpose of Clinton County Ministry of Hope is to serve the poor and needy in the Clinton County area in the name of Christ.
• In June 2007 Clinton County Ministry of Hope began serving a free supper each Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center in Frankfort.
• Feeling that there was a greater need than could be satisfied with one weekly meal, in February 2008, Clinton County Ministry of Hope began to offer free groceries to those who qualify, on the third Tuesday of each month.
• In April 2009, Faith Family Ministries opened their fellowship hall for the Ministry of Hope to serve a second free supper every week at 508 W. Green Street on Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm.
You may give now to support CCMOH through our secure site. Any gift to Kokomo Rescue Mission may be designated for the Ministry of Hope.
Thanksgiving Banquet
The line wound around through the tables to get a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving, 81 people crowded into the Paul Phillippe Resource Center. They came to eat and to fellowship. After everyone had been served, the leftovers provided an additional 80 take home meals. At Faith Family Ministries the previous Thursday, 50 people feasted on the same traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, and there was enough left for 30 take home meals.
CHRISTMAS OUTREACH in Clinton County
On Wednesday, December 15 at the Paul Phillippe Center, CCMOH provided a Secret Santa shopping event for children in grades K-5. Adults were offered cookies and punch while children from 89 families shopped for gifts for their parents and siblings. Items from a value of $.50 to $12.00 were provided at cost, and scholarships were available with recommendation from the schools.
On Saturday, December 18, volunteers delivered Kokomo Rescue Mission's RED RIBBON CHRISTMAS boxes full of gifts and food for 645 people throughout Clinton County. In November, applications were taken at both sites of the Ministry of Hope dinners.
Lenten Food Collection
During the six Sundays of Lent, churches throughout Clinton County are urged to participate in a collection of food such as pasta, noodles, rice, beans, potato flakes, boxed macaroni and cheese, hamburger or tuna helper. These foods help extend the source of protein in our meals. Please take food collected to "A Great Find" resale store in the Frankfort Plaza, where sales benefit the Ministry of Hope, or make arrangements for a pickup by calling Mark at 765-456-3838.
Easter Dinner Planned
A traditional Easter dinner was served at both Ministry of Hope locations during Holy Week...on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center and on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Faith Family Ministries. Volunteers prepared and served a dinner of ham, "cheesy" potatoes, green beans, rolls, fruit and dessert.
